Hello. As one of those who work with support in the company that developed and maintains SignCut I would like to encourage you all to use our support portal when in need of help. Of course we like when you customers help each other but we are also there for you when in need of help. On our support portal you usually have a response within 24 hours(normal response time =1-8hours depending on available support agents). Follow this link to get there: http://signcut.zende...om/registration When entering a ticket for support please include the following information to avoid a delay in solving your problem. 1. Type of computer operating system and version 2. Type of plotter(Manufacturer and model) 3. Type of cable connection you have between your cutting plotter and computer. 4. License number used in the program and version of the program - please open signcut and click help>about signcut and give us the license number and sub release version number you find there. 5. Click the cutter button and give us the settings for Manufacturer, Cutter, Device and Baud Rate. If using a USB cable please make sure you have installed the drivers that came with your plotter. If you are having issues with files please try test cutting a layer in the default Signcut Logo and report the results, if the logo cuts but your file does not transfer or cut properly please attach a sample file. Once we receive this information we will try to assist you promptly. While this forum is an excellent source of information our staff does not monitor it on a daily basis, we have many dealers all over the world and there are many forums available for our dealers users. Unfortunately we can not assign individual team members to monitor and reply to each of these forums. These forums are best used for member to member support and can be a valuable source of information but should you need help from our company please utilize the support@signcut.net email. We also have a live chat which is running almost around the clock. It is available on our website www.signcutpro.com You find it in the top of the page. We are gladly available for you to help you with your problems. Satisfied customers are the key to success. Regards, Therese Löfström Whisqu Graphic AB SignCut Sweden

Thank you for the info, I will give vinylmaster a shot, see how that it is first before I try to order cutstudio. I use autocad and inventor daily at work, it's a shame I can't find a vinyl cut program that works exactly like that haha i plan on sticking around here, tons of useful information out there, being that there are more experienced people here, is always a plus. I plan on using the gx as a small scale side job type of thing, and maybe one day it could turn into something much larger scale, but that is just wishful thinking at this point. Thanks again for the help.

It's a clear tape, for multicolor decals registration and does it has good archival life for ready to ship decals? Good news, just sold my iPad today, only left the MacBook and CE6000 and I might be an FC8600 or Summa owner. Thanks.

Hello, I want to upgrade my Graphtec CE6000-60 to a Graphtec FC8600-100 or SummaCut D120 or Summa S2 D120. As a Mac OS X user and not using Illustrator, since there are now better options, like InkSpace, Affinity Designer, Graphic from AutoDesk. I'm looking for opinions from users using SignCut Pro or MacSign. Thanks.

I have always been partial to 4075RLA but I tried out some of there Transfer Right Ultra High tack this last time and have been impressed by that super adhesion. USCutter is also carrying Maintape now too which is another well known performer.

Thanks Wild, I've heard about VM too. On the other side Parrales runs beautifully on Mac you're going to like itis having a great PC, haha!. Me I just try to avoid any PC app, usually interface design is clumsy. Unfortunately, I'm stuck to get the wider Graphtec or Summa until I sell the CE6000-60, my iPad Pro and MacBook Pro Retina 15". Btw, any choice preference on transfers tapes? Thanks, again for your support.

Another possible option for you if you are trying to have an all in one program might be Vinyl Master. Windows based so you'd have to run parallels but it's probably the best design and cut program I have seen in a bang for the buck comparison. I'm pretty skeptical of most design and cut programs due to either ridiculous prices (Flexi) or lack of ability (SCALP) and have been surprised and the robust features in VM Pro. If you are Illustrator functional and have it already then SignCut is probably the way to go especially for a mac environment.

If you aren't using illustrator then you might want to stick with MacSign. Just be sure to get a high enough level to have all the design and cutting bells and whistles you will want.

Downloaded Signcut as a trial but I can't seem to get the computer and Gerber Tempo 600 to communicate. The plotter will respond.
