I used Oracal 651vinyl as stencils, my Badger Hobby Sandblaster and 220 grit aluminum oxide bought from Harbor Freight. The Pint glasses are from the dollar tree, the Wine glasses are from Walmart, The Frame with glass is from the Dollar tree also. The flat glass was etched the same way I used silver rub n buff and the american flag is just standard paper printed on a laser printer in standard mode. I want to apologize for the size of the images. All comments are welcome.

All. Just got back home from Bill's Memorial Service. He had a full Military Honor Service with around seventy friends and family in attendance. A Celebration of Life lunch was held afterward at the recreation center by his home. His family thanked me for attending his service and wanted me to thank all the forum members for their prayers. Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed by all of us.

You DO NOT set your blade at 1/2 credit card!!!! About 10 times too much. That has been stated and stated not to on here.. I have posted how to set the blade depth correctly on here. You set the blade depth like this. And you should barely see or feel the blade tip out of the blade holder. To start with, you should set your blade depth correctly, by taking the blade holder out of the machine, and firmly cut across a piece of scrap vinyl, you will be cutting. You should only be cutting the vinyl and barely a mark on wax paper backing, Adjust blade to get there, Then put the blade holder back in machine, and use the force of the machine to get there, same results, only cutting the vinyl and barely a mark in wax paper backing.

I recently purchased vinylmaster LTR. I am a clueless newbie! Is there a way to upload fonts from online? Or maybe fonts that I already have on my computer?

So I finally finished my skin for my Xbox One! Here are some pictures of the final product, I printed on 3M clear, Laminated, and then layered it on vinylFX Chrome. Finished product came out really nice. I've also attached my completed template file if anyone wants it. Xbox One Template.ai

Make sure you haven't broken the blade tip off. Too much blade exposed like that, could cause the blade tip to break off. Look at it under a magnifying glass if possible.

I guess I'm A big shop, because to do those decals in cut vinyl I'd be in the $200 range not including design time. Just because it's a small job to you doesn't mean it doesn't take resources that have a value most notably time. First off we would print them if at all possible, then if we couldn't print we would charge accordingly for cut vinyl. Time is our most expensive resource! Loading/Unloading machines, weeding, masking, trimming all takes time and if you don't properly account for it you might as well close your doors now or keep it a hobby as you will get no where fast.

Found this video - apparently you don't need a rotary attachment for small designs on rounded surfaces -

Second go at a tumbler. Used vinyl as mask to lay down the black, baked it, then put the yellow over. I'm really pleased with how well the black shows through the yellow, much better than the pink did. Using 631 as the mask, but it's a bit tricky. Let it bake too long, try to take it off while the cup is too hot, or after it cools down and the adhesive doesn't want to come off. Have to find that sweet spot of warm but not too hot and the vinyl peals off easy but have to be quick cause the cup cools pretty quickly. I also think my toaster oven may be too small to do these. I think I "burnt" the yellow a little. You can't really see in the photo, but there is some discoloration of the yellow that I believe is because it was too close to the heating elements. And I know the image is copyrighted and all but this is just for my pleasure and Dodge has enough of my money, they can give me this little thing. ha!

Turn the speed down.... Set your blade depth like I have shown a zillion times. And it will set your force correctly. I always cut slow, and never have problems, My cutter has never seen those speeds. LOL . Start slower like speed-4-5 and see what that does. And yes, tangential mode can be turned on in Condition 9. Read, HELP...

Indeed, I am sure... of both answers. They're one in the same. Reconsidered my easy answer after noticing that the OP has been just fishing Font id's from the forum over the past 6 months and thought instead to give a couple of clues toward them searching and finding it on their own. Heck, they might even learn something about fonts in the process. Sofachrome is a Futuristic font family created by Ray Larabie. What are you sure of?
