Some multi-layered flags I worked on this week. Maryland Flag FX4 decals for a customers truck...Oracal 751 Matte Black bottom layer with 751 Cardinal Red, 751 White, and 751 Yellow on top. Ford Emblems are wrapped with Avery SW900 Matte Black, then applied the Metallic Gray SW900 flag (matches Fords paint code UJ perfectly) and lastly SW900 Glossy Black for the Ford lettering. Everything was hand applied without...yes without...using transfer tape on theses.

I was trying to come up with a neat gift for my niece who is 17 and currently looking into college. I don't know her likes/dislikes...and her Mom had no suggestions. Then I thought...a neat monogrammed t-shirt would be great. Easy-peezy right? JRL I have gained immense respect for those who create monograms. I had tough letters to deal with and I would have saved time using the standard circle/square/diamond designs.... but, no, I have to get fancy! The first photo with white background is of two samples I found online.... amazing, balanced monograms....that is what I was aiming for. The second, with the blue background is what I managed to come up with for a pocket monogram and a shirt front design. It's harder than it looks gang! AND, of course, this site was down (AGAIN) and I couldn't get any of your helpful input! Sue2

I haven't posted any of my work for a while so I figured I'd post one I just finished for the wife. It's a two stage sandblast of 1/8 glass, using 150 grit AO media @ 45 psi.

If your still using the MH cutter, I sure wouldn't try running 100 decals at a time.. Probably not enough memory. I would start with a smaller amount like maybe 10 and that would depend on how large the decals are, or you will be wasting a bunch of vinyl. Yes, you would use COPIES. in Flexi

Based on your question about what a clam shell press is I have the impression you have not done much homework. Take the weekend and a cup of Java and do some searching on the subject. Also look for swing away press and the. Then over center pressure adjustment and Clam shell vs Swing away. You will learn the deference and have a better understanding of what each one does compared to the other. Watch some video and read, read, read, read. Read articles by users who rant or rave and why. You are in danger of becoming one of those people we see on here who blow some cash on a machine that isn't what they needed. Heat presses are very much like cutters, more money may not necessarily mean better but cheapest almost always means junk. You DO get what you pay for at least to some degree as mentioned by several previous posts.

Did more searching and figured it out... total length of both cables is too long, need to use a powered USB Hub or an active repeater cable. Luckily, I have a powered USB hub, plugged it in there and it works!
