No problem - I'm just happy that I got it working and thought if I posted step by step of what I was doing and the messages that I got, it might help someone else if they have the same issue.

I did follow through with the first suggestion, I changed it to HPGL on the machine and that is when I got the error message on my machine that I posted a picture of. I was unaware of needing to change it in the software program too. She then told me to change it in the software too and it fixed my issue, so I DID follow through with her instructions from the very get go. Mz Skeeter - I thank you again for your help!!

We are very proficient in illustrator, quark and in design already, could we just export the designs to scalp and just use that to cut? we would then not be limited to the simplicity of scalp? or does it not work that way?

There is going to have to be some way of turning off all the big brother features in windows 10. If not then no hospital or government agency will be using it. With the hospital there's a HUGE HIPPA violation if MS is documenting patient information. And if you're not in the medical field Hippa violations are a big deal.

Look at that, mine wasnt set to HPGL either. You save the day again Mz Skeeter. I was thinking my cuts were a little off since I installed vinylmaster.

How is your cutting strip? The cutters that are designed to perf cut have a separate blade position over a small channel that prevents blade and cutting strip damage.

I have no doubts that the demise of XP will be a direct result of MS doing something nasty. Turning off the automatic updates would be a wise choice! busterbay: Glad to hear win10 runs it with no problems. And I hope you don't cut any copyrighted stuff because MS knows everything you do with those computers and everything you have stored on your hard drive. Good Luck!

I'm glad you liked them...I have never seen a reason to change.. My family and I have 3 Graphtecs all running the Seikitech blades.

I started using these blades a few months ago based on your recommendation Mz SKEETER. They last longer than the other eBay blades I was using. They seem to be made from a harder steel and are comparable to a higher priced alternative that I won't name. The $2 eBay blades I was using were actually decent blades but the softer metal would eventually bend from the abuse. The blade would remain sharp but the tip would bend enough that lines didn't meet perfectly. I'm still using my first Seikitech blade and would probably be on blade 3 of the cheaper blades by now. They are a real value.

I can make one of those for half of that price. Actualy... maybe even less lol. Thats a high price for a simple design

I buy my Graphtec blades from Seikitech on Ebay and always have....5 blades and springs for around $24.00 FREE ship.

stay back.. too many problems, There are no windows 10 drivers for the vinyl cutters. Wait til everything is fixed... Others upgraded and had to roll back to make their cutters work again.
