I made decals for a sailboat several years ago ( Blow Me ) with Oracal 651 for a friend . They roam around in the Severn River and the Chesapeake Bay . The water is considered brackish in the rivers . They are still in good condition . I give people the choice price-wise of what vinyl , hence longevity . Around here , the high end boats always get names painted . The other stuff use vinyl and get sold enough that the names change , so no need for the longer lasting vinyl imho .

Once you rotate the text. Then turn the text to the desired angle. Then skew until the letters line up.

Click on the text. Then click on the rotate button. Make sure your properties toolbox is completely open. In other words, it's sort of hidden at the bottom of the properties section. I will often click the ''appearance tab" so it shrinks upwards, that way you have more room at the bottom to ''drag'' the bottom of the text section so you can see the more available text options. Hope that makes sense.

From USCUTTER support Grounding can be done by running a copper wire/speaker wire from a screw on the base of the cutter to a point on the stand. Contact points should be metal on metal, which might require you to scrape away some paint.

I didnt fall off the ladder but slid off the metal roof on my own home. After thousands of roofs and remodeling jobs plus sign installs as high as 40 feet I get hurt on my own roof. I spent 2 weeks in the hospital healing from colapsed lung 4 broken ribs, a rotator cuff completly torn apart and a mangeled back ......it was only about a 10 foot fall the doctor told me at a minum of 1.5 to 2 years to return to working I was 2.5 months to doing light work they have no idea of the power or necessity to work when your self employed.

    1. I think on is more of a southern thing. The dialect is different down here and I call tell you this because I spent my first 28 years on earth living in upstate NY. They just talk different down here. 2. Stretching the # or using a wider font is a good idea and will be taken into consideration on the next batch. 3. These are going to be viewed for a matter of seconds while waiting for the light to change or traffic to clear at a stop sign so I left off email and facebook under the theory less is more. This gives the reader less to focus on and a better chance of remembering at least my #. I wouldn't have used the are code but as small as SC is there are 3 area codes plus GA so area code is a necessity.

I like the pvc pipe for the banners. This business is so competitive I was squinting trying to read the prices on your banner but alas I gave up. How is the pvc set up at the floor?

Here is a pic from my first set up at a craft show. I have done a few more at our church and basically set up the same way. Usually I only clear $2-300 for a one day event but with all the work involved its not my favorite way to make money. I only do this once or twice a year now.

Oracal recommends 651, 751C and 951 on their website: http://www.orafol.com/gp/americas/en/products/plotter-films/marine-graphics-9765 The major differences are Life Expectancy and Shrinkage: 651 - 6 years - colors/transparent/black and white Adhered to steel, no shrinkage in cross direction; In length, <.016” 751 - 8 years - black and white / 7 years - colors/transparent Adhered to steel, no shrinkage in cross direction; In length, <.006” 951 - 12 years - black and white/ 10 years - colors/transparent Adhered to steel, no shrinkage in cross direction; In length, <.004” Between 751 and 951 there seems to be a 30% price difference for about a 30% increase in life expectancy.
