My plotter has always worked great. I recently built a new computer and when trying to setup the plotter I'm having no luck. I have tried the drivers from the USCutter site, drivers direct from the FTDI site along with Roland drivers. Everytime I try to install them, it says it couldn't. I have tried letting the computer search for drivers and pointing it to them myself. Any ideas?

I just received my mh871 last wed (5 days ago). followed along with noobie guide and mh 871 box to first cut video. And plenty of youtube and threads from here on inkscape and illustrator. here is what i have done so far! also marvin was just finished tonight took me forever to get everything even!! not to mention 3 hours of fooling around with inkscape and illustrator till it was just right!

Hi there, first off I want to say how helpful this forum is for someone that is very brand new and have been teaching myself from Youtube videos. SO thank you! I am having some difficulty with getting the ring around the waist of my logo (attached) separated so I can print to vinyl and removing the verbiage under him as well. The Vi guy is to be cut in green and I want to cut the two rings around his waist in white. I have followed the step to creating a eps file from Inkscape but it will not let me move the rings. We purchased this equipment to set-up our daughter and son-in-law in business. They quit before they really got started and left us holding the bag. I am a Realtor and my husband has a construction company to run. We want to sell the equipment. We paid $15,000 in Feb. 2012. It has been barely used and is still under warranty. The equipment works fabulously. 48" Mutoh-made PrismJet VJ48 Ecosolvent Printer 54" Q54 Vinyl Express Q-Series Cutter w/ARMS FlexiSIGN PRO 10 Software We also have a customer list of 160 customers who have purchased $265,000 over a five year period that we obtained from a promotional products company. We're near Boise Idaho. I need ideas on how to sell this equipment. I've had it on our local craigslist for about a month without any action. Help! Thanks for any suggestions you might have! Kim

Hey everyone, I am just starting up with shirt making and am in need of soem shirts. What shirts are the best for the cheapest price? I checked out jiffy shirts, was going to order gildan g500 shirts. An order of 30 came out to 87.00. Does this sound right? Is there some place I can get small quantity like this for cheaper? Just starting up so I don't want to go crazy at first.. Also, what type of shirt is great quality? I will be using siser easyweed vinyl

I was playing around with my stuff today ... and made this name for my SC PLOTTER ... I think it fits

Maybe I'm just missing this? But I can't figure out why. I'm trying to cut one image 76 times. So 76 tiles correct? I addjusted the legth of it to fit all the tiles. For a trial run, I tried 3 tiles at first. After the first tile, the second tile created a huge line through the second design, and didn't cut out the text. Fail. So, attempt #2. Cut the design once, have it advance 0.20 after cut, recut design. Didn't work. The vinyl feeds backwards, and does a double cut over the design before that. Am I grounding this wrong? Is there an option I'm missing? I need to get these shirts out ASAP, and keep having this problem. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

hi friends, i have purchased the 1351 a couple weeks ago, and it was cutting fine. but now it cuts really slow and is REALLY loud... is there a problem with the plotter? or could the settings be all messed up? any help is greatly appriciated

That is NOT a vector it is still a raster image (pixels) saved as eps. I get this frequently from my customers. Attached is a very quick vector trace in Corel. It will need node clean-up. Sue2 BBV_Guy.eps

Just wondering if/when RSS feeds will be available on the new board. On the old boards I subscribed to 4-5 categories and then received the updates in my google reader account. With the new board, I don't see this option available. Thanks for any info.
