I'm using a Refine 871 and I'm cutting in flexi 7.6v2, I'm using usb to connect it and when the job gets to 39 percent it says write port error, it keeps cutting for a couple more minutes then it stops, Anyone help i need to deliver this sign TODAY!

   What version of windows are you using?  I also have Flexi,  maybe this will help you,,,  go into the Production Manager  and change the   Packet size to 1000 KB,  you will have to actually erase and enter the 1000,  click apply and ok,  or try reinstalling flexi

Im using xp home. I tried everything, it cuts and then will give me a write port error, i've wasted so much vinyl.

Its a menu board that is 21.669 x 22.888in

Is that to big?

Okay i just cut again, with baud set at 4600 on my cutter and in flexi, i unchecked the box for the disable "connect to local production manager using TCP/IP", and it cut so right now im good for now. Thanks

good deal, ya know I had to change my baud settings once too now I only cut on 4800

I think its the speed the computer talks to the cutter, remember the old dial up connections they had baud speed.

Maybe not sure.

What is Baud?
