Hello!  I have just started out and I have created some shirts.  They have been pretty simple.   I have layerd a few on the heat press already.  But, my friend owns a bar and she wants me to make some shirts for her.  She wants them similar to the one I attached.  I how do I create this design?  Do I do this in signblazer?  I also have Coral Suitex4 and illustrator.  The problem is, I do not know how to layer when creating a design AND the shirt's lettering is the t-shirt.  Its not the vinyl.  How do I do that?

Hello,
I'm "GraphiChic", I'm a newbie too. I would love to help you.
I tried to open the attached file, but was unable to do so.
You mention you have other graphic software, try saving as a
jpeg.file in either one of them, this way it can be open much easier...
Doc.file opens blank.

Use whatever program you feel the most comfortable with, Corel, Illustrator and SignBlazer are all OK to design in.  I personally  prefer CorelDraw, but that's just my choice.  If you use either Corel or Illustrator you'll need to export your design in vector format (EPS) into SignBlazer.

Hello, I'm going to give you my suggestion, but before I do so I need to know
a couple of things. 1 "Red Deuce" is on the shirt, right? 2. are you using 2 colors
of orange or does just appear that way? Layering this won't be hard to do.

The shirt I have attached is not one that I created.  She would like one similar to that.  To me, it just looks like one color of orange and then White.  I'm just really bad at knowing how to do a design like that and cutting things out etc.  Looks like there are borders etc.  Once someone would show me, I'd be fine.  I'm really great at hands on learning!

Alright, We'll do this together, ready.
This is what I would do...

1st- I'd cut the orange area out first (Shield)
(Make sure you that the shield is cut off, where so
the banner that goes across it can be placed in it's
proper place)

2nd- the outline will come next (the white boarder)

*You can either cut the wording out along with the shape (Orange)
or You can cut the lettering out separate (Black) and layer it on,
this also depends on the vinyl. Some vinyl can't be layer.

When do you need this done? Which cutter software are you using...
I maybe able to send each step to you so all you will have to do is
open it up and cut it out. This is if you don't want to try the instructions
above. I really wouldn't mind helping...

OH MY LORD, would that be great if you could help me!! You are a dream!!  Well I wanted to at least have the design done by Monday to show her.  When you say cut out shield, you mean on the vinyal cutter right? Or do you mean on the software?  I use signblazer for my cutter.

Great!!! I'll send you the file, SBD.
Before I get started, Is the wording
cut out or is it layered on the orange?? What
color are the shirts??? Do you know what "Font"
is being used? I'll work on it after dinner, I should be
finished @ or around 7pm, tonight...if you can provide
me with the "font" type...and thank you, that's what I'm
here for...

The wording is actually the black shirt.  so its not vinyl at all.  If you want you can email me too at kkappy@agtelco.com  If you don't want to go through this.  To be quite honest I'm not sure about the font yet, because I didn't even know how to begin with everything!

Alright, I have your information. Tell you what, let's
look together. I'll start looking at my fonts to see if
I can match it up with one that I may have.
Is there anyway you can contact the person
to find out if they may know which font type is being
used or if you can alter the font... don't worry though as
soon as I get that information I can do the wording.
I'll start on the shield tonight.
