Most of the software used with the cutters will import a DWG drawing and then use a pen attachment to plot your drawing

thats what i was looking for, im using sbe to cut, i saw it can take a dxf file, which i think is one option for my cad, but most of my files are in dwg format already.

are there any alternative (free Smiley ) programs to download for me to try out?

I believe Flexi would be the best option for these files. Flexi starter is relatively low cost and works will with a lot of different file types.

SignBlazer would be a bad option for cutting cad files because SBE has not been updated for the last two years. You will spend more time trying to get the files into the software then you will doing anything else.
