Just wondering what everyone is doing for Thanksgiving this year? I normally stay with family and we have the traditional food items but this year I am going with my SO to meet his family in Spring Hill TN. First time away from home for a holiday but should be fun

I guess I'll do what I do every year. Cook a turkey, wait for the family to come, and hide in the shop til they leave.

I too will be volunteering my time, but the day before to help prep a large Thanksgiving kitchen that will service thousands in the Seattle area the following day. I am goin to watch football and goto my Mother's to meet my Sister who is flying in with my nephews and brother in law... I have a younger brother and sister who will be in attendance as well. So big family dinner for sure!
Good to hear that a few of us decided to volunteer our time!

I'll be here at the store with the wife working. She has her open house/christmas preview Thanksgiving and the day after, this is normally one of her busiest weeks.

We will be volunteering our time a couple days before Thanksgiving to prepare and take full Thanksgiving dinners to about a dozen families we have identified in our area as being in need. A friend of mine smokes the turkeys ahead of time and the families then just need to heat everything up on Thanksgiving Day. As a family, this year we are gathering at my parents' house to meet up with other siblings and their families that are coming into town. We really look forward to these occasions that we can get together as a family like this (and of course eat until we drop).

This year thanksgiving is at my aunts house so I'll be making the drive there. Each year 1 of the 15, yes you heard this right. 1 of 15 brothers/sisters has Thanksgiving at their house. We usually have around 35-40 people there. This will my grandmas 84th thanksgiving this year.

I'm not sure what we are up to yet. I know I'll be cooking a turkey, but it's up in the air yet if I'll be working that day!
