Congratulations... to be honest, I'm kinda surprised that one of them took the offer?!?!

For the most part, the forum runs itself. You just have to activity scan the sub-forums for spammers, p0rn, and internet fights.

Instead of all 3 of ya'll just roaming the forums, I'd suggest that a section of sub-forums be assigned to each moderator to scan with a fine teeth comb every few days(this was something I was going to suggest back when I was a moderator, but then David left and screwed my master plan to take over the forum Wink).

Instantly, you will notice a increase in the PM's you receive. I went from 2 or 3 a day, to typically 10 or more a day.

Do this place & all the members a favor, and watch the graphic request sub-forums closely... sooner or later that section is really going to get this place in a bind.

Have fun with it, and please don't get too cocky with the position.

And thanks for taking some stress out of John's life!

YIKES!!!!  I'm about as surprised as the rest of you.

But thanks for the opportunity, I know there is quite a bit involved, but that's why John & Cutme are the first mods in line, I'm the back up!!  laugh

Does this mean you guys get the official decoder ring and the secret handshake. I've been wanting in on those since I was a kid (way back when).

No but it does mean they get to work alot of hrs. cleaning up the boards and a bunch of PM's and emails from people complaining......ALL FOR FREE..... Grin Grin Grin Well now that I am no longer a MOD they probably get some kind of compensation.  All Firemalt and I got was ALOT of headaches and bitched at by paid staff for not being "team players".  Well John did too, but he stuck in there for reasons I have no idea why.

You 2 will make excellent MODS, I really believe that.
